If you had to say, what do you think is the best mass unit to go with, if it is a unique (im sure it is) say what civ too for newbs. i know it is a bad strategy for massing one unit but i guess im. Pound for pound? as in best unit for the price you pay well the throwing axemen is the cheapest uu and in groups they can be devasting longbowmen are quite cheap and quite deadly war elephants are too expensive, although insanely powerful and as much as i love teutonic knights, they are the most expensive infantry unit. For example, i know the koreans have the best onager because of its range and they get all the upgrades. but what about the rest of the units? which specific unit of each type is the best with a certain civ?.
